Sollers plans to start assembly of electric cars in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK, Sep 3 (PRIME) -- Russian car producer Sollers plans to launch assembly of electric cars in the city of Vladivostok at its joint venture with Japanese car producer Mazda, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said on Friday during the EEF Junior session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

“Sollers’ Chairman of the Board of Directors Vadim Shvetsov said that they plan to set up production at the initial stage, I mean assembly, development, and production of electric cars,” Manturov said while talking about the company’s joint venture with Mazda in Vladivostok.
